Privacy and Sharing on Rezzy
Rezzy gives every member clear control over who can watch a personal TV network. Privacy is managed from the My TV viewing page so sharing choices stay separate from channel and playlist editing.
Private
Only the owner can watch. Rezzy administrators may access the television when necessary for moderation, safety, or support.
BuddyPress friends
Only the owner and confirmed BuddyPress friends can watch. This is useful for families, collaborators, fan clubs, classrooms, or trusted communities.
Public
Anyone who visits the page can watch the network. Choose this for a creator channel, public brand, portfolio, or community station.
Private share link
Enable an unguessable private link when you want to share access without making the television public. Anyone with the link can watch, so treat it like an invitation and disable link access if it is shared beyond the intended audience.
Changing visibility
- Open your profile popup.
- Choose My TV.
- Scroll to Privacy & Sharing.
- Select Private, Friends, or Public.
- Optionally enable the private share link.
- Save Privacy.
Good sharing practices
- Share private links only with people you trust.
- Use Friends visibility for ongoing BuddyPress communities.
- Review public channels before promoting them.
- Remove content you do not have permission to publish.
- Report playback or privacy problems to Rezzy support.
Moderation
Administrators can review member televisions for platform safety, policy enforcement, and technical support. Other members cannot view a private TV unless the owner’s selected visibility or private link allows it.
