Creator FAQ

Answers to common questions about creating personal TV channels, reusable playlists, and featured movie pages with Rezzy.

Can I create more than one channel?

Yes. Rezzy is designed for complete personal networks, not a single channel. Create as many numbered channels as your programming needs.

Can channel numbers use decimals?

Yes. Use whole numbers such as 34 or decimal subchannels such as 34.1, 34.2, and 34.25. The lineup plays in channel-number order.

Can I use my own videos?

Yes. Personal playlists accept supported MP4 and YouTube URLs, letting creators program studio footage, livestream archives, music videos, films, travel videos, podcasts, and other original productions.

Can I paste many MP4 links at once?

Yes. Bulk Import accepts many MP4 URLs, removes duplicates from the submitted batch, uses filenames as titles, and attempts to detect duration.

What if duration detection fails?

Enter a fallback or manual duration. Rezzy accepts seconds, MM:SS, and HH:MM:SS.

Can one playlist be used by several channels?

Yes. Saved playlists are reusable. Assign one playlist to multiple channels and maintain the programming in one place.

What happens if I delete a channel?

The channel leaves your lineup, but its saved playlist remains available for reuse. Delete the playlist separately only when you also want its clips removed.

Can I import a Rezzy live channel?

Yes. Choose a Rezzy live channel and assign the number it should use in your personal lineup. The imported broadcast stays connected to Rezzy’s master channel.

Will changing channels break live synchronization?

No. The player requests the current broadcast position whenever it tunes, so normal channel navigation does not rewrite the shared schedule.

Who can watch My TV?

You decide: only you, BuddyPress friends, everyone, or people holding a private share link.

Can administrators see a private TV?

Yes, for moderation and support. Ordinary members still need the owner’s permission.

What is My Movies?

My Movies is a personal featured page built from movies and TV shows already in the Rezzy catalog. It resembles the main Rezzy browsing experience while reflecting the member’s selections.

Does adding a movie copy or edit it?

No. My Movies stores a connection to the master Rezzy post. The original title, poster, categories, and watch page remain centrally managed.

How are My Movies categories created?

Selected titles retain their existing Rezzy tags. The personal page groups those selections into matching category rows automatically.

Can I choose the large featured title?

Yes. Open My Featured Page and choose Make Hero on any selected movie or TV show.

Will this work when Rezzy moves domains?

Yes. Rezzy plugins use WordPress-generated URLs and stored page IDs instead of hardcoded localhost links. Verified packages can be uploaded and activated on the production domain.

Where do I manage everything?

Use the profile popup for My Movies, My TV, privacy, and account links. Use the WordPress My TV and My Movies menus for channel, playlist, and storefront creation.
